Interestingly it is true. The local derby is between Athletico (Bilbao) and Real Sociedad (San Sebastian). Both are in the Basque region and there is intense rivalry. During the first half of last season Real Sociedad had an English manager. He was Chris Coleman, formally of Fulham.
