This may ba a dumb question but i am planning a trip to atlantic city for a weekend and have never been to a casino. Do you have to be a guest in a hotel in order to use the casino? Or can you just go "casino hopping"?

  1. Yes, you can go "casino hopping."

Las Vegas is the same, if and when you ever go.  You can walk in and out of any casino you want, and shop, browse, gamble, do whatever you like.  You do not have to stay there.

  2. They make money by you playing there so you can be 100% sure they will let you play no matter what... juts dont win too much you will end up with nothing, IRS and the casinos will take care of you.

  3. Casino hopping is welcomed whole heartedly. But if you are trying to get comps you will have a better chance if you play in one casino. Lets say you lose $1000. If you lose $200 in five casinos you won't get much but $1000 in one casino might get you a room or at least some meals. You don't actually have to lose money. Just get rated and put some time in. For instance 2 hours in five casinos or 10 hours in one casino. 10 hours is worth something.
