  1. aye, dedicated, full of compassion and brave-hearted....

    respect 2 u all!!!!!

    it must take guts,

    respect again!!!

  2. An operating theatre is hard work so many qualities are needed to work in one but the most important fact is that you are interested have a passion for it and want too.

No good doing any job if you do not have those first qualities as for working in one you have to be organised, a good communicator, be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, be calm and patient also be able to look at blood  and such like without passing out.

If it is what you want to do then go for it I have worked in theatre and it is not for the faint hearted however very rewarding.

  3. I think you need to have a strong stomach! Some form of medical training is an advantage but some theatre assistants can be trained on the job xx

  4. Need to have desire in medicine and surgery.

Need to be able to work in a team.

Need to be able to follow instructions clearly.

Need to be flexible and quick thinking as situations change sometimes in surgery.

    Need to be patient.

Need to be calm and able to think independantly at times.

  5. Yes, you can't faint at the sight of blood!
