  1. no way!!!  that would be pretty hard 2 accomplish going into 7th grade!  i know i used 2 not be able 2 do that, but now i can!!!  you'll get it eventually!!!

  2. no i'm i 7th grade and i'm gunna be able to plzy for the 7th grade volleyball team

  3. Not necessarily. Good foundations of passing and setting are good at this point. However, if you can do these, it will be greatly noticed. Try to work on it: join and club team or go to some camps so you can shine. This will become very important once you get to high school.

  4. nah... modifyed will teach u all the basics. its jv that u need to know ur stuff

  5. Most teams you don't have to. When I was in 7th grade most people knew how to spike and serve overhand. You only have to spike if you are a front row player. If you want to be an awesome player you should definitely learn how to spike and serve overhand. But for now just focus on the fundamentals.

  6. no, but u should learn.

  7. middle school volleyball is nothing of a comparison to highschool ball. you absolutely do not need to know how to do that. those years are where you will learn those skills and techniques and  practice them for when you get into highschool you will be able to use them well and play well with the upperclassman.

  8. in my school you dont but they say that u should know it....im not good at that at all so yeah....also in my school ur either on a A or B team A is most of the "better at over hand serve and B is the underhand

  9. when i was in grade 7 we had a ok team and everyone could serve it over hand a hard and the better players could do jump serves. to make the team look around and see what everybody else is doing. try to master the underhand serve and instead of spikeing try a deep volley.

  10. absolutely not. i used to play for my jr. high team, and we had players who didn't do that. i now play for a high school team and there are girls who aren't great at it, and the team has won a bunch of titles. just stick with what ur good at. alot of the time, an underhand serve can be stronger than an overhand, and if u can send a ball deep, it can do as much damage as a spiek. but if ur thinking about not going out for the team because of these, dont. you will learn to get better at them, and they aren't essential to make it. good luck. =]

  11. most likely not. kinda depends on your coach and if you are working hard at them then you should be fine... i know thats what happend with lot of ppl for the 7th team last year for us._good luck!!

  12. You don't have to. But you might want to practice a bit just to get ready for grade 8. You don't have to know that for grade 8 eiher, though, but you'll learn it then, and it would be a lot easier if you had some experience.

  13. they will teach you how to spike what their looking for is teamwork and effort so give it your all

  14. If our 7th grade team had to be able to spike and do an over hand serve, we wouldnt have a team. Its most peoples first year and ur not expected to be able to do all that. Your gonna have to do that for HS team tho. And for 8th grade...u need to be able to spike. We had ppl who couldnt over hand serve until the end of 8th grade volleyball.

  15. proly not but its best to strt working on hem now

  16. depends on the school, and you probably should if you want to get anywhere, all the girls on my team have to and we got third in the state

  17. Our local school says we do but i think the only reaso for that is because some of us play club
