Do you have to be an awesome singer to be a disney channel actress?

Hi. I love acting and I would love to be on Disney Channel. Is it really necessary to be an amazing singer to get on disney channel? I know that like 75% of the stars are, but I really don't have a good voice. Do you have any advice or can you tell me whats's the chance of getting on disney channel without a good voice? ive never seen any amazing singers on disney channel??? last time i checked there were some really bad actors and singers being promoted so much that they loose brain cells everytimes someone buys something with there face on it but ive never seen amazing talent can you even call them actors??? they act like teenie boppers which is exactly who they are!! and they dont sing they scream trying to force some sort of sound out while permenetly damaging their vocal chords

so to answer your question you dont need to be an amazing singer and you cant become an actress for disney channel

you can become a merchandising plastic cookie cutter "star" who can attempt to sing but only if you have a famous dad so sorry :(

i was actually thinking the same ting since ALOT of them do sing but its not a requirement just a bonus ..you should go for it but if you think your singing or voice is really holding you back then  take some voice lessons which actually puts you at an advantage and can be used on a good resume :-)

You don't have to be an great singer, but in order to be the star, you probably should; so voice lessons are a great option. All of the stars sign a contract and music is included. So you might not be able to be the star, but maybe a co-star. Of course, this depends on your acting. If you're an awesome actor, they might let you slide.
