Do you have to be fluent in Japanese to enroll for Tokyo University of Pharmacy and life science?

To be honest with you, this UNIVERSITY is like at Standford level.  Only 100-200 foreign students get accepted into one specific department (compare to other is like 2000).  Fluent in Japanese is not enough, you need to master it like a regular high school students in japan.  Not only that, even Japanese students can't get in AT ALL! If you got accept it into it, you are a genius, a real genius.

I agree with the above poster. Regardless of which university in Japan though, with that major you're seriously going to need an excellent command of Japanese. If you can't read a newspaper in Japanese, then you can't go to university.
