I was told that I had to be extremely good in math to be a nurse. Is that true? I know I may have to be good in chemistry.

  1. No.

  2. You will be required to take math 100 (The Fundementals of math), which basically is a refresher course on math.  from there you will be required to take math 120 and Math 126.  if you have a good teacher it shouldnt be a problem.  I just did my math final yesterday and maintained an A average through out each class which for me is a miracle.

If I can maintain an A average for all 3 class's it is possible for anyone to pass math.  You can beleive that.

  3. you need to be literate in amth and mathematical concepts but not a math wiz

  4. Yes, of course.  You do not want a lawsuit on your hands because you miscalculated a dosage to a patient!
