Do you have to be in an infantry unit to join the JTF2 and can you be in the air force instead.

i would really appreciate it if I knew because i want to join the air force non infantry unit but i want to try to make it to the JTF2 although i might not make it but i want to try.

Joint Task Force personnel are a lot like the SAS and SF forces of G.B and the U.S.

They are selected from Army, Airforce and Navy. The testing reqs. are brutal, as is the training. Other than having at least 2 years service regular and 3 reserces, I do not know if there are any other requirements for consideration.

I sugguest talking to a recruiter or better still, if you have a friend in service, have him or her talk to thier unit commander and give you a call to pass along the info.
