  1. no. you can be single or dating.

  2. focus on now and preparing a stable life for your self to prove you are able to raise another human being successfully

why choose, at 17, to plan to adopt?

  3. No.. Good job... good character. that is all you need

  4. Yes you do.  A college education is not require but a job  and an apartment or house is.  Your parents house doesn't count either.  If you are adopting from the USA domestically most birth mothers want their children to go to a married hetrosexual home enviroment.

  5. my daughter was adopted by a single mother who had money, a stable life., and a great family support system.  Her  adopted mother was married for 11 years but her hubby left her because she couldnt have kids. now she has a daughter and he got the dog.

  6. Most agencies accept single people who are 25 and older.

  7. I am a single mom of 2. I am 32 and when I am done university I will adopt a child ( as my body doens't handle pregnancy veyr well). Some places are more strict than others and I have not looked into it yet, but I know that single people can take in foster kids and some coutnries will adopt out to single people, I think Thiland (which I can't spell, lol) is one of them.

  8. NO sorry if that sounds mean but nonononono that is a great thing i say you should go for it  and that is great that you would like to adopt a teen you know that there are more teens in shelters and group homes than they can take care of?? I was adopted it is a great thing to do

  9. U have to have something to show that u can support the child's needs because your financial status will be asked during the processing of papers,if can be able to..there should be no problem even if u are single but also u have to be legitimate and pass the age range to adopt .
