  1. NO you dont. Its all about flexibility and speed of the kick and how well u connect. Just take bruce lee as an example , at 130 pounds and a short height- look at the damage he could do.

  2. Being tall does help you by having better reach, longer heavier limbs inflict more damage and if your taller you don't have to be as flexible to kick the same height. However anyone can learn to kick great. Skill is still more important than more length so everyone has a chance.

  3. i am really tall and yes i do have really powerful kicks and really long legs so i can kick a lot further than most people so tall people have a slight advantage when fighting some with just kicks but i know lots of short people who have a much more powerful kick than me. if you keep practicing it you will get really "awesome kicks" i used to practice my kicks a lot and now my kicking is pretty good... but dont forget to practice other things like punching.

  4. It's already been scientifically proven that the taller you are, you have more "additional power". However, height isn't the only thing that enables you to kick hard. You need to kick properly, have muscles, how much you weigh can also add up to how heavy and hard you can kick, flexibility, and etc.

Whether you can use what you're naturally born with(height, weight, etc.) depends on the individual. It can become a disadvantage for some people for grappling or stand-up but one thing's for sure is that height is definitely not everything unless you're like the size of a giant.

  5. Only if u trying to kick people in the head who are 6 feet 10 and above ...............

Best kickers I've seen on tv and internet are not taller then 6 feet......

Flexibility and technique are more important then height, i would say flexibility is the most important thing for harder kicks...........

  6. No. It's because they have a longer reach. It's more about technique.

  7. I almost read that wrong. but the answer is no to both

  8. No being tall means nothing, its all about the flexibility.
