is it you can drink when your however old and just tht you need to be 21 just to buy it? plz let me know as soon as possible

If you get caught by the police drinking underage then you're going to get in trouble. You're not allowed to be drinking or buying alcohol until you're 21. That's why parents get in trouble for giving teenagers alcohol. Just don't get caught !

In most countries the legal drinking and buying ages are the same - the only exception being that you can drink in a restaurant under parental supervision (I'm from New Zealand though and our drinking age is 18!)

No, you have to be 21 everywhere in the US to drink alcohol.  Some exceptions are made for religious observations (seder, communion) but that's it.
