U might be able to become a fighter pilot in a third world country wo/ graduating high school.

  2. all you have to do is pass VCE maths and English and a minimum of year ten science. check the Australian army website it will tell you more

  3. You are correct: without finishing high school, there's no chance of becoming a fighter pilot.

Military pilots are "officers", not "enlisted."  A prerequisite to becoming an officer is to have a 4 year college degree.  Your chances of being selected for OTS without finishing high school are zero.

  4. first of all it is to difficult you should have to be to clever and you shod have to study to much.you shod have to be clever in math, physics,English and EPA.no b/c if you don't have a base you can't do nothing.

  5. My brother is an F-16 pilot in the USAF.  The road to his career began in high school when he had a strong desire to be an astronaut.  So, what are all astronauts' former jobs: pilots.  He studied in high school and maintained a 3.80 GPA.  Took the ACT and scored a 32.

He then Applied to the USAFA (Academy), had to get two U.S. Congressional appointments, and was still rejected for admittance.  After writing numerous letters, requesting letters of recommendation from current pilots at the time, he was finally granted admission.

During his 4 year tenure at the Academy, he was put through a rigorous academic and physical program.  Compared to regular universities, military academies are more like IVY league colleges.  They require degrees with about 160 credit hours.  He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, and then went on to 2 years of flight school.

So, to answer your question.  You need much more than high school and a standard degree to become a fighter pilot.  Even those officers who graduated from college have a hard time getting into flight programs.  Officers coming from the Academy are usually given preference.

  6. I'd suppose an A in science and geography would help.
