  1. no, you don't. the only thing you could maybe do is (if you have leather, not canvas. well if you have canvas you could do this to) do some ton dues to stretch them out a little bit. it's not necessary, but sometimes new ballet shoes can feel a little bit tight. good luck!


  2. No, not really, unless they are full-sole shoes, then the might take a while to get as flexible as they need to be.

  3. sort of. you don't really brake them in as such but you will soften them in time and they will just of mould to your foot.

    its more moulding than breaking.

  4. No you don't have to break in demi-pointe shoes as they do not have a hard shank like pointe shoes, the vamps will soften over time, just like a pointe shoe, they are a really good transition fromballet slippers to pointe shoes.
