yeah if ur over 16. walmart for 37 bucks. so they could afore fish in lakes

No just skip it.  The fines are generally small.

Yes, check the environmental department of the state you live in, you need it so that some people do not take all of the fish in the pond or lake or whatever.

I know most Wal-Mart's sell fishing licenses. I think you only need a picture id (driver's license) and the fee. You can call your local Wal-Mart to get the exact fee and what you need. I am not sure of the exact reason you have to have a license but it helps to make sure that there is not over-fishing....

A lot of sporting goods stores and bait shops sell them. The money that is raised from the sale of license's goes to restock lakes and manage lakes.
