Some people get famous simply by their erratic behavior. Look at Paris, Lindsay, and Britney.

Some rappers increase their fame by shooting people whether they meant to or not. I don't recommend this at all.

You don't have to die to be famous, just get severely noticed. Elvis was famous long before his death. It's the act of death that made him legendary.
