  1. well maybe you should talk to the pe teacher and tell him and just maybe he might talk to you and change your mind about pe or he might even make pe alot funner thats what i would do

  2. yes it's as much of a class as History or science.

  3. For my school, 2 years is mandatory. Maybe you should go ask the office or something

  4. hey!

by year 9 are you in the UK? if you are picking your options you don't need to pick PE as an option -- you can drop it. however you still get one hour of PE a week which is compulsory, but I don't think you really need to learn much about PE anymore after year9 unless you are taking it for your options.

  5. hello nintendo!

well first of all you need to take p.e  its an obligation let me give you reasons why you need it ok well you need it because you grow stonger and smarter it helps you alot p.e is very fun although sometimes it can be bad Five days a week! The problem with most P.E. programs is they haven't changed in half a century. There should be choices for high schoolers that can lead to lifetime exercise--say, running, tennis, volleyball, basketball, light aerobics, etc. It takes a little imagination to implement a program like that, and taxpayers willing to pay for good teachers and equipment. For youngsters, PE teaches basic hand-and-eye coordination, as in the old games of dogeball and snatch the bacon. Everyone needs exercise and everyone needs the academic day broken up by some physical activityLets see now..... DUH! Are we not the fatest nation on Earth. h**l without PE in a few years the weight of our nation will throw off the balance of the planet. Of course we need PE and we need it to make a life long impression in the youth so that they develop positive exercise habits that will last a lifetime.

hate P.E. with a PASSION... but I feel we need it. Some kids don't even get excersize [besides P.E.]

So... what I am saying is:

I hate it but we need it.

Do we need to take more exercise?

People of all ages should be encouraged to take more exercise according to a report by England's chief medical officer.

Sir Liam Donaldson says that exercise is a key factor in reducing the risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes.

Adults should take 30 minutes of moderate exercise five times a week, children and young people 60 minutes.

Possible activities include walking to work or mowing the lawn.

On Wednesday, the supermarket company Tesco said that it would introduce a prototype 'Trim Trolley' to one of its London stores next week.

    well hope i helped!

  6. At my school you have to take gym for at least one year which is bad enough. I don't see why its required, and I'm surprise in California you have to take it for 2 years.

  7. Well, depends on where you go to. In california, you're required to take 2 years of P.E. If you don't like P.E, you can take a sport instead for 2 years. I'd suggest a sport since it's fun and you can get much better at it. Hope this helps.

  8. in our school, we dont get to pick grade 9 courses (Nova scotia canada) so we have to take it, and just recently it became a graduation requirment to take one credit of gym in either gr. 10, 11 or 12. check on your school website for graduation requirements or talk to a guidance counseller, hope i helped
