Do you have to do something to make receiver gloves more sticky?

i just bought gloves and they have good grip but am i supposed to wash them or something to make them stick more?

Penalty: Unsportmanlike Conduct against the head coach - 15 yards.  Second Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty results in head coach's ejection from the game.

I think if you did really anything else to make them stick more, I think that might be cheating.

i bought the nike treadlock vapor gloves and they are the stickiest gloves i've had and when the stick begins to wear from the gloves it can be added when put water on them
