  2. No, but it certainly gives a sense of reassurance to know that the commander of our armed forces has some sort of military experience.

  3. You absolutely should, in my opinion. If can't serve your Country by fighting for her, by God, you should not be allowed to be President, period. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.

  4. Several presidents were not former military men... Bill Clinton for one, Abraham Lincoln was another....Should Obama be elected, he would also be a president without serving in the military.
