Hello! I just saw an application on the immigration New Zealand website that was for visiting New Zealand. Will I have to print the form out and turn it in for just a two week stay? Do i need a permit? I would love any help on this!! Thank-you very much!

  1. I came for a 4 week holiday 5 years ago and you can stay in the country as a tourist for up to 3 months, I live here now and my mum is coming for a two week holiday in march and she doesnt need one but we are from the UK I dont know if it depends waht country you are from though

  2. It really depends on what country you are from. NZ has reciprocal travel agreements with certain countries and if you are from there you don't need any visa document to visit as a tourist. I have linked a list of the countries that don't need Visa's for you.

  3. You could contact House of Travel, NZ and they can advise you on visiting NZ; what to do and do your bookings for you as there are outlets nationwide and can assist you should you need help and advice while here with your travel.  But you will not need to fill out an application to visit here if you do not intend to work.

  4. You will need a visa to come to New Zealand unless you are from Australia -- and a few other countries are exempt.

You can see the requirements and countries that are exempt at:
