Is episiotomy REQUIRED during childbirth? Has anyone been able to go without one?

  1.  An episiotomy is the worst thing you can do unless the baby is stuck. There are no straight lines in nature and as experienced as doctors are it is nearly impossible to put a straight puzzle back together! They didn't exist back in the day and humanity thrived just fine!
