Do you have to go to acting classes in order to have resume?

Question

Do you have to go to acting classes before you can get a resume?

What i mean by that is, is do you have to have a resume with a acting lessons on it?

So if you go to a audition for acting!

well, the more experience you have the better. i would try to get a couple of classes or small roles in anything to get that experience. as far as presenting it on a resume, you might be interested in this website. they help people build video resumes... if you have enough natural acting talent, you could create an awesome video resume and it might be enough to get you acting.

I believe that actors have portfolios, which is like a resume but also includes headshots, etc.  If you go to an audition you are going to need a portfolio if you want to be taken seriously.  If you are going to be an actor you really should have the education behind you when you go rapping on that heavy door, because competition is fierce.
