To get a web designer job -- u need not go to college -- all u need is subject (which u can readily learn on internet) and creativity.  Browse a lot of sites - u can learn a lot.  Design a few web pages - copy them into a CD and send the samples along with ur resume when applying for a job - and this CD will cover up for all the certifications U DON'T HAVE.

Qualification doesn't really matter, as long as you know how to use the software to do the web designing job.

Web designers usually provide their service on freelance basis and we believe you should go that route too.

It's better to have your own website where people will ask for your service instead of spending your time working for someone full time.
