  1. no but the guy that pressed them against me did.


  2. Yes because if you don't show up the judge will issue a contempt of court and you will be the one in the jail house not the people you charged with criminal mischief.

    By agreeing to press charges you are saying that you agree to be a witness in the case and testify in court if nessesarry.  It is possible that the case will never go to court because of a plea deal or the disctric attorny could decide not to pursue the case.  If it goes to court you will be called on as a witness.
