Do you have to go to university if you take A-levels?

I'm confused because i want to take A-levels but i don't want to have to go to university after?

Can you still get a job aftertaking a-levels without going to university. I just got my GCSE results and i might take A-levels in Media, Business Studies, English and one other subject. Please help, thankyou :)

no you don't you could consider doing a degree at college if you wanted one but I know people who are in high paid jobs these days without having to go to uni. I even know someone that was turned down for a job as she was over-qualified for a job - it's not always a good thing to have a degree!

you need gcses to go to college, and need alevels to go to univeristy.

you havnt got to go to college or university, if you go college, its completly up to you what you do next

Yeah, you can still get some jobs with A levels - but for any respectable job which pays well you need to get a degree - unless you get lucky with starting your own business.

There some people who don't have to go to university but are earning well. Employers look at your experience, how much you can give to their company. Qualifications isn't everything.

No! Not at all.  A Levels will help you go into a job or an apprentiship if you don't want to go to university.

No. You can get a job without any qualifications - it just limits your options, the more you get the greater choice you will have. Bear in mind that many jobs will require graduates (ie people who have been to university) before you dismiss this. People don't (just) go to university for the fun of it, but because it allows them to progress further in their chosen career than if they didn't.

obviously a joke question /but yes you do /university police knock at your door 5am on the first day of term and drag you to a university as far away from your home as possible.
