Do you have to have a HDTV to have a PS3?

  1. No you dont have to. Its just that, majority of people who have PS3's have HDTV's because with an HDTV, everything will look the best it can be. With a regular Standard TV, everything will still look great. But it wont look the best because thats what HD is for. Its fine though if you dont have an HDTV. I suggest you keep it because like I said, it will still look great.


  2. Nopies, to be quite honest.

    I mean, we got Hd tv's and normal Tvs in our house, i tried it on both and really theres not much differance in quality of movies and games. The XMB you can tell the differance alot because of the quality of text...

    But no, you dont have to have a HD tv for a ps3, it can use the standard red/yellow/white cables.
