  1. Yes you do need a vehicle that can handle that fuel, But I don't think it's worth it. I have a 2007 F-150 that can take ethanol, but I get like 8-10 miles to the gallon on ethanol fuel opposed to 12-15 miles per gallon on regular gasoline. So yes it is cheaper, but my gas mileage shrinks and in the end I spend the same amount.

But I think you should come back to Columbus- Gas is cheaper here.

  2. Yes and no.  You can't just start using ethanol in any car, but there are conversion kits out there...the downside is that the conversion is extremely difficult.  It would probably be best to purchase a vehicle specifically designed to run on ethanol.  You can check out the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition's website for more info: http://www.e85fuel.com/index.php

  3. my husband has a ford pickup truck and it takes ethanol

no you cant start using ethanol on the engine you have now try asking a cars salesman

you probally going to have to buy a new engine or some thing

  4. Flex Fuel By GM

I don't see the point though. You pay a bit more expensive gas and get better millage. If you have ethanol, you get a price 40 cents less (at the least) and get bad mileage.

  5. 80 M.P.G.!
