and if you dont need a job whats the limit they start you on?

  1. No, but I would not be so eager to get one either. It's much preferable to pay directly. With respect, that helps you look around longer until you find a better deal which costs you less than that shiny new item. Credit can be a prison.


  2. No, you don't need a job to get a credit card, but unless your parents are rich, it's going to be hard to pay off your bills.

    And that's all that credit cards are, a way of getting billed later for stuff you buy now. You have to pay eventually, and usually you have to pay more if you use a credit card because they charge interest.

  3. target card will start you off with a $200 credit limit and if you make your payments on time they up grade you to a target visa with a $500 limit and if you keep up with the payments for another 6 months they increase your limit $1,000

  4. yeah i would ot get a crdit card if you do not need one.  I have myself down to one for emergencies a very small one.  I think that is best.

  5. no you don't. But don't get involved with credit cards!

  6. No, just a source of income. Which for most people is a job. But having a trust find or a pension check would work.
