  1. You'll have to get an a land line to hook up your computer. I know a company if you have a land line that can save you money on land line and Internet service as well.  If you'd like their web site, email me and I'd be happy to email you back with it.

A portion of everyone's bills is given to help fund programs for the handicap, mentally challenged, impaired, elderly and youths.  So I highly recommend you giving them a call.

  2. I think you do....but thats just my thoughts....hopefully somebody will know.....sorry that i dont know......SORREEE

  3. NO, you can get Comcast, of some companies offer satelit internet!" I'll find out for you", and let yoyu know the name. I use Verhorison and love, its DSL, and fast enough to do anything I want!  And congrads on being out in the middle of no where!

  4. You could get an wireless connection from a wireless provider. They have air cards that are  set up for your usb port. They have great speeds. I have a friend who offers pretty good deals on most major wireless providers if your in the market.

  5. at&t offers dry loop dsl in some areas that doesn't require a phone line. call 1877uaskatt to see if its in ur area and check the rates. use referral code mp4341

  6. comcast ?

  7. You SHOULD be able to get satellite Internet ANYWHERE.

I just heard of a new satellite Internet service, starts with an H, but I can't remember the name.  I have DSL

    :(

  8. Call your local cable provider (Comcast, TimeWarner, Cox, ect.) and ask if you have coverage where you are. Most cable companies offer high-speed internet service without having to also subscribe to their TV or phone services.

But, I am assuming that you cannot get cable where you are... I know that DirecTV has some sort of internet service through their partnership with Hughes.

If you get good cell phone reception where you are, you may want to look into getting internet service through your wireless carrier. The can sign you up for an additional service and sell you a PC card to use with you computer. This can get expensive. I have experience with Verizon and Sprint's service, and it is pretty comparable to DSL speeds, so long as you have a decent signal.

  9. If your dish doesn't have a provider then you need an active phone line. You can get just a phone line and no other services and have dsl that away,as long as your phone company provides it or a local company can.
