  1. Without a doubt, the microwave (just keep cooking, and stirring until melted in 3 minutes intervals) is the best approach for non-burnt rotel cheese dip.

For variety, try sausage and cilantro in it to make it tasty (Rotel has a tomato with cilantro).

  2. no ...  I don't make mine with hamburger, but I don't know why you couldn't add browned hamburger meat (seasoned with chili powder, garlic salt & some cumin)

    8 oz. softened cream cheese

    8 oz. shredded cheese

2 cans Rotel tomatoes (I use 1 hot and 1 mild)

Melt them all together and serve with tortilla chips.  You could just serve it from a saucepan on the stove........

  3. Do the rotel, velveeta cheese, and chili-no beans in a crock pot. Piece of cake.

  4. i make this just using the stove.

i use velveta cheese and melt it in a pot on the stove - medium heat. brown some hamburger meat in a separate pan. once the cheese is all the way melted, just add the rotel and hamburger meat. it keeps well in the fridge for a few days too - just throw it in the microwave for a minute or two to make it warm.

  5. The crock pot just makes it a dish you don't have to watch so closely but you could do it in a double boiler too and that would work
