  1. Yes you do require a Passport.

  2. Full passport as Dublin is outside the UK.

  3. I live in Ireland but went to birmingham in march i had to take passport.

  4. No you don't, despite the logical reasoning behind the other answers.

It comes under the Common Travel Area which is a passport-free zone that comprises the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. The area's internal borders are subject to minimal or non-existent border controls and can normally be crossed by Irish and British citizens.

I went to Dublin and I wasnt asked for my passport once.

Check with your airline or phone Liverpool John Lennon Airport if you're not sure.

  5. you have to have a full Dublin passport to fly because it ou the uk

  6. no, the licence should do, a friend of mine travelled from birmingham to dublin without a passport, just her prov driving licence

edit:  i flew myself to glasgow, no you don't need any i.d of any sorts, and what i said about dublin IS right

  7. u have 2 when flying out of uk
