I have an account at Washington Mutual, but don't know the account details as I'm not the one who controls it. Do I have to have an account there, will they charge a fee and/or is there a way for them to find out my account information?

  1. Your question is a little confusing.  If you have an account there, then you have the ability to get information on the account unless  you are a minor and the account has been set up to become available to you when you reach a certain age.  I don't believe that bank has fees for there accounts unless it's a savings that falls below the minimum balance.

  2. if you do not control it, can't you just get the person who controls it to cash it for you?
