I Bricked my psp,and I'm thinking about buying a pandora battery, but I don't have custom firmware on my psp. It's firmware is 4.00.So is it still possible to unbrick it using a pandora battery.(I also have a magic gate pro duo memory stick)

  1. Bricking your psp means there is no firmware.

    So you have firmware 0.00

    A pandora can fix that.

This is the guide i used to downgrade mine:

This is a guide i wrote:

Step 1: Getting the pandora battery

You can buy a pre pandora off ebay.

You can hardmod any sony battery into a pandora.

You can softmod using someone's CFW psp.

Step 2: Making the Magic Memory Stick

You can make one using someone's CFW psp.

You can put the files on using an XP computer then format it using comand prompt.

    Step 3: Downgrading

You put the mms into the psp.

You then put the pandora battery.

All your lights should flash and it should ask you if you want to downgrade\unbrick.

Step 4: Using the pandora battery as a normal battery

If you softmodded the battery you can softmod it back to normal.

If you hardmoded the battery you can use DarkAlex's time machine to run the pandora as a normal one.

    Step 5: Custom Firmware

Some mms put you to version 1.5

Some mms put you to 3.71 M33.

If you are at 1.5 fimware you need to download the upgraders from darkalex's website. You also need to download the offical firmware and put it in the folder that darkalex says.
