Do you have to have someone older then 18 with you to get a california license plate?

im moving with my sister to california and shes 17 and needs to get a new license plate for her car. we're moving from missouri and both she and I have our licenses. does one of our guardians have to be there in order for us to get the plates?

  2. 3Lm3r, Let me start out by saying I'm not always right when it comes to auto repair. Last year I had some problems with my Chevrolet Astro and I wasn't sure how to fix them. I tried to search the Internet for help, but the procedures were way too difficult for my skills. I ended up going to the dealship for my repairs. The dealership tends to charge more than mom and pop repair shops, but they've seen all sorts of situations ( insurance problems, repair warranty issues, etc) and they seem to always find a way to help me.
