  2. im not sure whether its law or not but be advised if your a responsible driver then you should have and if you have never towed a caravan before get some training it will serve you well for the future

  3. All cars have to a have a MINIMUM of two mirrors, one interior and on fitted to the off-side, as those mirrors have to be suitable for the vehicle, then yes, you do have to have towing mirrors capable of doing the job.

  4. When towing you must have mirrors which give adequate rerward vision past the towd trailer.

  5. why would you not fit them you must be able to see behind at the back as well as the front surely

  7. the law as it stands says; that any road vehicle must have at least 2 mirrors capable of allowing the driver of the vehicle to see the rear of and behind the vehicle, wether the vehicle is a solo or towing vehicle makes no difference.

  11. Hi No its not law but Plod can do you for driving without due care and attention because you cant see behind you .

    They got me on that one with a wide horse box .
