i am with virgin, and it is c**p, the worst interent i have ever had, half the time all the computers in my house say they are connected, but the internet or msn or anything just doesnt work, on christmas eve i was talking to some relatives far away with all my family and the interent just packed up, its a disgrace, my family is with talk talk and have had no problems, you can also get free international or mobile phone calls if you go and talk to a sales advisor instore.

If you have a BT line already do not go to virgin as you can choose almost any other provider.

You can get Virgin ADSL broadband on a BT line but it's a different product to their cable service and both are in my opinion rather poor.

If you have Talktalk then you should be able to get their broadband a little or no extra cost, however it's not available everywhere and you may be tied to an 18 month contract.

As an alternative, have a look at Be, Zen, O2 broadband, or if you have Sky TV their broadband is pretty good and you can get a deal on their TV/Phone/Boradband service.

Avoid Tiscali, Orange and Virgin broadband in my opinion.

I am not sure if its needed but it will be much cheaper for you if you go for both phone line + broadband from Virgin. Broadband will cost you £4.50 a month + £11 phone line rental. With BT it will be much more
