    However, to win a confidence of a customer, you should.

    Wining a confidence, will give you, number of tangible benefits;

    1.   You will be respected by this customer.

    2.   You will be referred to many others, by this customer.

    3.   You will improve your reliability factor.

    4.   You will improve your reputation.

    5.   You will improve your business.

    Moreover, you will have a tremendous satisfaction.

    Thus, you shall inform and refund, additional or overcharged amount and proceed towards prosperity.

  2. Yes you should call them and offer to leave it as a credit for future business or ask them if they would prefer a check for the overpayment.....

    What if they find out later when balancing their books that you never said a word, they certainly aren't going to do repeat business with you.

  3. Well, come on!  Would you inform them if they UNDERPAID?  

    Do the right thing if you expect people to respect you for your integrity.
