Do you have to jailbreak an Ipod touch to run Snes games?

Right now, everyone seems to be saying there is no point to jailbreaking the ipod touch because of the new update.

But what I want to know is if there is a way to emulate games on an ipod touch with out jailbreaking it.

Yes, you must. But it is a lot of fun after it is jailbroken!

Edit: With the new App store, you can get a lot of games, but i haven't seen any Snes ones..the closest to it was a Crash game..lol.
