No, the menus are in english, and they usually have workers who know english.

Not in the US and even some of the restaurants in Vietnam have the menu's in English. cheers.

com = rice

thit = meat

heo = pig (pork)

bo = cow (beef)

ga = chicken (same)

banh mi = sandwich/bread

nuong = broiled (usually thit nuong)

cha gio (pronounced cha yaw) = egg roll

No, most of the owners of Vietnamese restaurants do speak English. The menus have English translation for those of us who need them. Great food too!!
