  1. You absolutely have to gain weight by creating a caloric surplus, infact if you exercise with keeping your caloric demands the same you will infact LOSE weight as you'll be in a catabolic state unless you suddenly spread out your calories from meals at about a meal every 1.5 hours (ha!)

  2. No you don't have to eat more. Eating more is very unhealthy way to gain weight. Your better off lifting weights and gaining muscle, which will add healthy weight onto you. Also, doing running or jogging will add leg muscle which could put on weight and you'll be staying in shape as well.

  3. no; an example, someone who has 3 meals a day, and someone who has 6. that doesnt tell me anything. the person eating 6 meals could be thinner than the one eating 3; it all depends on how many calories you take in. theres some foods that are higher in calories than others; and if someone wants to gain weight then they should eat the higher-calorie food. its not necessary to eat more.

  4. No, if you eat the same amount, but exercise more, that builds muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. Soo yes u can gain weight by exercising more. :)
