    What did the credit card companies do to not deserve their money?

    you may be able to call them and work out agreement for smaller payments and no late fees...but yes someone will have to pay them!!

    always could file bakruptcy?


  2. Let's just say that the bills have to be paid or you'll be sued and civil jdgments rendered against you.

  3. Check your contract.  I'm pretty sure going to jail will not suspend your liability to repay your credit card bill.

    Although, that may be an urban legend circulating and be the reason our jails are so overcrowded .....

  4. Yes, you do. Nowhere in your credit card agreement does it state that you are exempt from payments while you are incarcerated.
