  1. IBAN is your international bank account number.....your bank should just be able to tell you what that is. You may also need a BIC (Branch Identifier Code) to receive money from abroad. Basically, the IBAN + BIC are the international equivalent of your UK sort code and account number. Although the IBAN + BIC can be given for free, some banks will charge a small admin fee to administer the transaction and the conversion from currency to GBP. Each bank will differ on costs, so just ring up, go online or pop into branch.

  3. True, IBAN refers to your routing info, and you can get that from your bank. if you're asking about a wire transfer fee, it depends on your bank. there are bank accts that incoming wire transfer fees are waived, other bank accounts do not have that benefit..
