Do you have to pay for apple support?

I have a second generation ipod nano and the center button doesnt work. I also have a two year warrnaty which is still valid. So if i go to the apple store or send my ipod off to get exchanged or repaired will i have to pay?? and if it if replaced, will I getthe third generation nano?

  1. no u would not need to pay for that, but if u needed a screen replacement or battery replacement u would neet to pay.  


  2. if you have the apple care its FREE for support or warranty work.

    damage caused by mis-use (dropping etc is not covered and you'll have to pay though).  if its fault to be needing replacement you get EXACTLY the same MODEL/colour back not an update!

    thats called improvement and is excluded from the policy (in all insurance policies in fact)
