do you actually have to pay for comcast installation because 99 dollars is a lot just for installation WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????...

You usually have to pay for installation. But in the end they want your business so it depends on what rep. you talk too and what you can get out of them. Call them up to get the service and then change your mind and all of a sudden decide to not get the service see how quick they waive all kinds of fees. As a cable tech it always varies. When i do installs some people pay up to $250 in fees and deposits and some pay nothing. I guess its all in what that sales rep. can get away with or give you to get you to sign up. Never get comcast home networking they lease you a router for $5 a month and charge $150 install fee when you can buy a router for $50 and be done with it
