  1. no... psp works with wi-fi if u got a  wireless router  u can just go to net work settings  and do a scan  it will show u if there is an account then just select your account .

  4. I'm guessing the PSP uses WiFi to connect to the internet.

    If you're using your own connection, then you shouldn't have to pay, as Sony's online service is free (as far as I know) to play games on/view the internet/etc.

    If you're using a connection you have to pay for, like at a pub or something, it should come up with a page asking you to login to the network, at which point they'll ask you to give card details to charge you for using their network ($/£ x for y minutes).

    You shouldn't get charged without knowing it anyway :)

  5. Nope, but as mentioned you do have to have access to an open Wi-Fi router.

    The PSP pretty much sucks for surfing the web an on-line gaming, so I just use my PC instead...much faster and a bigger screen. :D

  8. no?  you have to pay for internet... you have to have a wifi connection at home or a ps3 and you can connect to the internet... you can also go to a hotspot but I don't know if that works because some places require you to download software.

  11. You connect to wifi networks and hotspots, some you have to pay some you dont. it cant just get the internet anywhere such as the iphone

  12. only if you get charged by how much you use your internet if you have unlimited internet acsess then no, but if your charged by time then it will just be added to your internet bill.
