Do you have to pay for nicktoons network?

i live in az. i have cox tv. and i want nicktoons network. but on my tv it says its not authorized. and my friend which has the same cable as me has it. he doesn't think u have to pay for it. so do u have to pay for nicktoons network?

as far as i know its free (some networks suck and make u pay but most dont)

it is not like hbo or showtime.  Your friend may have a different cable package then you do.  Call your cable company and find out what is the cheapest upgrade you can get to include nicktoons but not have to pay for extra channels.
