  1. RFK Stadium Parking Policy

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) maintains a program of Stadium Event parking restrictions in a zone around RFK Stadium and the DC Armory (see map below). These curbside regulations prohibit vehicles without Zone 6 parking permits or valid Visitor Passes from parking on residential streets during events at RFK Stadium and the DC Armory.

The RFK Stadium Event parking zone is in place to protect residential neighborhoods from parking pressures generated by events held at RFK Stadium and the DC Armory. Patrons who attend Stadium/Armory events are strongly urged to travel via public transit. The Stadium and Armory are well served by Metrorail and Metrobus; and helpful travel information is available on the WMATA website. Those who choose to drive to games must park in officially designated RFK Stadium parking lots.

For residents living within the boundaries of the RFK Stadium Event zone, please notify your guests of existing parking restrictions. To avoid the risk of guests receiving a ticket during an RFK Stadium or DC Armory Event, make sure to obtain a Visitor Pass from your local Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) substation. Links below show the annual schedule of events for RFK Stadium and the DC Armory. Due to the relocation of the Washington Nationals to their new Ballpark on South Capitol Street, many fewer events will be held at RFK Stadium, and specialized RFK Stadium Event Visitor Passes are no longer necessary.
