Do you have to pay for the internet on the iPod Touch?

  1. It depends.  

    The iPod touch can connect to the internet using wi-fi.  When you're in an area where wi-fi access is present ("hot spot") then you can freely connect to the internet...as long as the wi-fi access is free.  Most establishments offer free wi-fi, but there are still some who charge you for it - making you buy a prepaid card with usernames and passwords to have access in that area.

    At home, you need a wireless router to enjoy wi-fi.  You just connect the router to your dsl/broadband connection and "voila."
