No different than home, the school expects tuition, and you have food, rent and miscellaneous expenses.

Ideally these are all close to what you would pay at home.

But it's not free.

well yeah. You have to pay for everything yourself. Nobody is going to pay you. How would someone profit from you studying abroad? You have to pay for your plane tickets, your living expenses and your school expenses.

Depends on the country you wish to go to study.

In most countries in North Europe education is free. Meaning you don't need to pay university tuition.

If you decide to be accomodated in student houses, you won't have to pay much.

Obviously, you'll have expenses with books, school material, food, etc.

Decide where you'd like to go and do some research.
