Yes, you still have to pay TiVo for their service after you purchase the recorder.

If by 'card,' you're referring to CableCards, you'll need to arrange for those through your cable company.  There won't be any included with the TiVo.

yes you do. you can pay for a year so its cheaper. you also get youtube and music choice videos and lot of other stuff.
