  1. No. I think that if you do play ot you might like it more...but you don't have to play it to like it (well, in most cases).


  2. Of course, all being a fan means is that you have the appreciation for the game and how it's played. For example, I pole vault, but am an avid football enthusiast.

  4. Dude, believe it or not, but there's plenty of coaches out there (even in pro's) who never played they sport and they are getting paid thousands, even millions to coach it. I don't play any intstruments but you better believe I love music. That's why sports are so great man, it's a spectators heaven. They do it for the fans. Who cares if you haven't played, that means nothing.

  5. No, not at all...BUT it will give you a greater appreciation as to what the athletes are doing as well as a greater understanding of the particular sport.

  8. No, you do not have to play a sport to be a fan of it.  I'm one of the biggest softball fans ever. I'm absolutely in love with it, yet I've never played it before. I say wear it!!
